SPECIAL TRACK: CCIT

The CCIT (Certified-Counselor-In-Training) Certification Track provides a direct path to complete the required 20 hours of education, including the mandated 2-hour Counselor in Training Orientation, the 6 hours of Ethical & Legal Requirements Pertaining to the Revised 42 C.F.R Part 2, the 6 hours of Ethics for Addiction Counselors, and the 6 hours of Telemental Health, all of which are requirements needed for the CCIT Certification Application.

Note for First-Time CCIT Applicants: For the special virtual price of $167.50, normally $442.50, initial CCIT applicants can pay for their initial CCIT application fee and one 3-day, CCIT track registration for the conference. The CCIT application must be completed and in the GACA office one week prior to the event to receive admission to the CCIT courses.

Georgia Addiction Counselors Association Provider No. _______ approved for a maximum of 28 hours, which includes 6 Ethics Hours, 3 Cultural Diversity Hours, 6 Telemental Hours, and 3 Ethics for Clinical Supervisors Hours.

28 Core contact hours, including 9 Ethics and 6 Telemental hours of continuing education have been applied and are awaiting approval from the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA), the Georgia Society of Clinical Social Workers (GSCSW), NAADAC, and by the University of Georgia School of Social Work.

For GACA credentials, this virtual webinar conference is still considered in-person. Please contact your board to ensure that, at this time, virtual learning is still considered part of the criteria for CE's for licenses, certifications, and renewals in 2021.
